What to expect at your ophthalmology appointment

Book an appointment for a comprehensive eye examination with one of our eye disease specialists! During the visit, we will perform a thorough evaluation of the entire organ of vision, including the diagnostics of ocular surface diseases, allergies, chronic diseases, as well as qualification for ophthalmological procedures and surgeries and a pre-operative assessment.

At Retina we provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative care. Our patients are entitled to free ophthalmological consultations for up to 30 days after the surgery performed at our Hospital.
We also provide full ophthalmic care for children from the moment of birth.

Optometry appointment with prescription and fitting of corrective eyeglasses or contact lenses

Retina Ophthalmological Outpatient Clinic and Hospital offers optometric services.

An optometrist is an eye care professional trained to prescribe and fit corrective eyeglasses and contact lenses. Optometrists specialize in the correction of refractive errors, such as myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism. They examine the anterior segment of the eye in a slit lamp.

An optometrist may also refer a patient for vision rehabilitation, or, if necessary, he may also refer a patient for further ophthalmic consultation.
