Paediatric ophthalmology – general description

At the Retina Ophthalmological Outpatient Clinic and Hospital we specialise in paediatric ophthalmology. We are staffed by experienced paediatric ophthalmologists, as well as an orthoptist and optometrist with a unique approach to children. We provide ophthalmic consultations for children from infants to teenagers. We also provide surgical treatment of strabismus in both children and adults.
Both of our facilities, in Żoliborz and Bemowo, are well equipped for paediatric ophthalmology appointments.

At Retina we attach great importance to the gentle and smooth running of all procedures, and we inform parents thoroughly and comprehensively about every step. Parents can accompany the child during the entire diagnostic process and consultation, as this helps to keep the child calm and reduces stress levels.
