Blepharoplasty
PricelistThe eye area is the most delicate area of the face. It is around the eyes that the ageing process is most visible, when drooping eyelids, wrinkles and ‘bags under the eyes’ start to appear. Blepharoplasty improves and rejuvenates the appearance of the eyes. When performing eyelid correction we can also remove herniation of orbital fat and achieve proper skin firmness.
The procedure involves the removal of excess skin and, if necessary, orbital fat.

Description of the procedure
Preparation for the procedure – pre-treatment medical consultation.
Blepharoplasty takes about an hour and is performed under local anaesthesia. It involves excision of excess skin and removal of redundant tissue. Once the area heals, the scars are virtually invisible. In the case of upper lid blepharoplasty, the doctor makes an incision in the natural folds of the eyelid. On the lower eyelids the incision is made about 1-2 millimetres below the eyelid margin. The wound is secured with a dressing. The patient can leave the Clinic immediately after the procedure and go home. The stitches are removed after 7 days.
The first effects are visible after the wounds have healed; the full effect becomes visible after 6 months.
