Anna Kowalik, PhD
Coordinator for Diagnostic and Research, Electroradiologist
Dr Kowalik holds a Master’s degree in electroradiology from the Karol Marcinkowski University of Medical Sciences in Poznan and has been a practising electrotadiologist for 12 years.
She gained her professional experience in broadly understood diagnostics and therapy (mainly oncological) during her work as a junior electroradiology assistant in at the Greater Poland Cancer Centre, and during her internship in clinical hospitals in Poznan, as well as during numerous courses she took in Poland and abroad in the field of diagnostics, therapy, radiation protection of the patient, risk management and risk analysis in healthcare.
Dr Kowalik is an author of numerous publications on radiotherapy, risk analysis in radiotherapy and quality control in diagnostics. She is currently holding the position of Research and Diagnostics Coordinator. She performs diagnostic eye tests and is responsible for quality control of diagnostic equipment and scientific development of our centre. Dr Kowalik specializes in electrophysiological tests and diagnostic tests in qualification procedure for laser refractive surgery, cataract surgery and refractive lens exchange.
In 2022 dr Kowalik was awarded a PhD degree in medicine and health sciences in the subject of intraocular lenses by The Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun – The Ludwik Rydygier Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz, the Faculty of Health and Sciences. In her spare time, she loves travelling, boxing and running.
