Marta Kita-Mosek, MD

Dr Kita-Mosek is a graduate of the 2nd Medical Faculty of Warsaw Medical University. She started her professional career in 2007 at the Military Institute of Medicine in Warsaw. From 2009 to 2015 she did her specialization in ophthalmology at the Chair and Department of Ophthalmology at the 2nd Medical Faculty of the Medical University of Warsaw under the supervision of Prof. Jerzy Szaflik. She also gained professional experience at the Ophthalmology Outpatient Clinic of the Military University of Technology. From 2015 to 2022 dr Kita-Mosek worked in Outpatient Clinic for the Treatment of Macular Disorders, Laser Outpatient Clinic for Patients with Retinal Disorders and in the Fluorescein Angiography Lab of the Department of Ophthalmology at the 2nd Medical Faculty of the Medical University of Warsaw. Moreover, from 2016 to 2022 she supervised the national Drug Programme for the treatment of AMD and conducted trainings in fluorescein and indocyanine angiography for doctors doing specialization in ophthalmology.

Dr Kita-Mosek performs laser photocoagulation of the retina and qualifies patients for anti-VEGF intravitreal injections. She performs a range of diagnostic tests for macular diseases, diabetic retinopathy and other retinal conditions, including retinal angiography, and OCT and Angio-OCT of the macula. She is also involved in the diagnosis and treatment of anterior segment disorders and glaucoma.

Dr Kita-Mosek is a member of the Polish Society of Ophthalmology.  She is the author of numerous scientific publications in national ophthalmology journals, primarily on the treatment of AMD and diabetic retinopathy. She participates in national and international scientific congresses in ophthalmology and diabetology. Passionate about mountains, she spends every free moment in the Tatras. She speaks English and is currently learning French.
