Michał Szot, MD
Eye Specialist
Dr Szot is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine in Collegium Medicum of the Jagiellonian University in Cracow. He graduated and earned his MD degree and a diploma in medicine in 2004. He completed his specialty training at the Ophthalmology Clinic of the Military Institute of Aviation Medicine under the supervision of Prof. Marek Prost.
Dr Szot specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases affecting the anterior and posterior segment of the eye. He consults adult and paediatric patients.
Dr Szot specializes in the treatment of glaucoma, cataracts, optic neuritis, uveitis, and conjunctivitis. He performs all ophthalmic diagnostic examinations including ultrasonography of the eyeball.
Dr Szot is also a highly experienced surgeon specializing in laser refractive surgery, intravitreal injections, and other minor ophthalmic procedures performed in operating room conditions and in the outpatient clinic, e.g. capsulotomy, and laser procedures for glaucoma and retinal damage.
Dr Szot has an excellent command of English and German.
In his spare time he travels. He is a big fan and collector of paintings.
