Aleksandra Kuczyńska, Msc
Certified optometrist, Contactologist, Optician
I am a certified optometrist, contact lens practitioner (NO 21213) and optician (PNO 33429). I graduated from Ocular Optics and Optometry at the Faculty of Physics of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Working with patients is my passion. I care about my continuous professional development by participating in conferences, trainings, and courses – constantly improving my qualifications. I look at my patients and their visual system holistically – approaching each person individually and devoting the right amount of time to them. I make sure that every aspect of vision, changes made to the existing correction or recommended solutions are clear and understandable. I love the smile of fully cared-for patients who enjoy comfortable vision. In my office, I use modern measuring devices adapted to the age and needs of the patient, whose comfort during the examination is the most important to me.
I conduct a comprehensive, professional optometric examination with individual fitting of contact lenses (soft spherical, toric and multifocal) and I offer appropriate, modern optical solutions, including those for the visually impaired. My optometric practice also includes:
- selection of appropriate structures that inhibit the progression of myopia in children and adolescents (MiYOSMART glasses by HOYA and MiSight 1-Day contact lenses by CooperVision),
- selection of progressive and “office” type constructions, considering the individual parameters of the patient, their work style, and visual needs,
- diagnosis of binocular vision disorders (accommodation disorders, eye movements, amblyopia, double vision),
- comprehensive diagnostics of vision defects and disorders that may cause learning problems, visual fatigue (eye fatigue), problems with concentration and maintaining attention.
