Alina Szewczuk, MD 

In 2018, she graduated with distinction from the Medical University of Warsaw. Dr Szewczuk received a Warsaw Regional Medical Chamber award for the third best result of the Final Medical Exam. Since 2019, she has been completing specialist training as a resident at the Independent Public Clinical Ophthalmology Hospital in Warsaw.  Member of the Polish Society of Ophthalmology. Co-author of papers in Polish and international journals and presentations at ophthalmology conferences. She completed courses in ocular ultrasound, OCT, and Angio-OCT.

 In her daily work, she’s responsible for drug programs concerning diabetic macular edema, evaluates EP tests, works with glaucoma patients, assesses patients’ eligibility for surgery and performs diagnostic tests. 

In the scope of her doctoral program, she’s conducting scientific research in the field of the use of adaptive optics in ophthalmology.
